"Unauthorized" (2004)

There are many ways to represent the built environment. Whilst feeling suppressed, threatened and endangered during a visit to a government facility, it was apparent that I was not welcome there. Barbed wire, security fences and warning signs filling the otherwise peaceful landscape surrounding the facility. The sculpture was made during an university assignment to use any medium to express emotion of the built environment.
